We are honored to add Djunya to the roster on Medicine. With releases spanning over a decade on a slew of accomplished labels, Hyperdub , SMOG , Paradise Lost, LoDubs , Narco.Hz , IOT, Blipswitch,Tech Support Rec, Foundation Channel and Muti Music, Djunya has continued to explore the fineries of bass music with influences ranging from Ambient, Dub, IDM, Hip-Hop, Downtempo to Drum & Bass, and 2-step.

‘Times Of Essence’ pushes his sound further into Halftime Drum & Bass, this time also utilizing a strong backbone of Hip Hop styled beats. The sound design and sound generation is mostly composed on Djunya’s ever expanding collection of micro modular analog modules, which he also manages to also perform live.

From the deep post-dubstep organic vibes of Regenerative, to the heavy Halftime of Times Of Essence, the heady and epic ‘Sphenoid’ and the laid back groove of 2Luv, the EP is quite an epic journey in 4 epic tunes of unique flavor.
